Why now?
Well, now’s as good as yesterday and tomorrow actually. That being said, we’re approaching the Fall and I don’t know about you, but it feels like a good opportunity for me to review what I want to do for the rest of the year.
This may sound like a simple question, but a lot is going on in prioritizing your life. The first step is to define the categories of things on which you spend your time and energy.
I tend to use a variation of these categories:
Business/Career
Finances
Health
Family and friends
Romance
Personal development
Fun and recreation
Physical environment
Philanthropy
The next step is to define where you currently stand in each of these categories. That means, how satisfied are you with each of them? I typically use a scale of 0-10; 0 means not satisfied at all and 10 meaning completely satisfied. Both are highly unlikely.
